VASE 005
NEUTRAL
005 I opening Ø: 7 cm I height 26,5 cm I width 17 cm
Vase number 005 is made of white stoneware clay. It consists of eight different slip-cast parts that were joined together to form the height and design. This vase leans slightly to one side and has a minor stress-crack on the top hence the reduced price. These imperfections do not affect its functionality. This shape only exists once and is the highest of all the vases. A real treasure.
This vase is part of a limited collection of 17 handmade ceramic vases, each meticulously crafted using various techniques. Every vase is unique in its design and color variation, available only once. Each vase is stamped and numbered.
Positive shapes were formed on a plaster lathe (e.g., half of a donut shape), from which the negative moulds were created. The colored clay is achieved by dyeing the liquid clay, which is then mixed, sieved several times, and poured into the plaster moulds. The half-parts cast in plaster are assembled individually by hand and combined to create a unique design.
